I love how the conservatives at work stop talking politics when I enter a room. They hate my poking holes in their "facts" they heard on Fox or some other cult classic
I have a childhood friend who is a Trump supporter. We share similar interests and activities that we pursue together. Created a mutual agreement to never discuss politics. Its worked out well, so far.
We have been fishing together since kids. Its a good way of decompressing, as your focus becomes one with seeking and catching fish. Another rule we have, no drinking, even on charter boats.
I still have friends that are Trump supporters. We don't talk politics. I have friends that hate Trump, but love conservative talking points, they learned not to preach to me because I love nothing more than shooting holes in their rants. Instead we talk about kids, cooking, gardening and such.
I also make a point to never start a political conversation. But spew shit theories and I will pounce with glee

When I was growing up nobody talked about politics. It was taboo. You discuss it with your close friends and work associates, but the only people who would rant about politics was the neighborhood nut-job.
