I dislike the new YouTube algorithms because it encourages youtubers to devolve into making some of the worst and cringiest content possible. Then they punish the YouTubers who make decent content. Pretty much, if you weren’t big before 2020, you get completely f**ked no matter how good the content is.

Yeah, one of my favorite Minecraft YouTubers back in the day was a channel called "Mineplex Offical," which was officially run by the minecraft server Mineplex, but there was a guy who ran it where they did funny (kinda edgy) content that still makes me chuckle to this day. Then Minecraft became less trendy, so he ended his association with Mineplex and changed his name to "ParkersGames." Somehow, he was popular enough to somehow get an entire series on Disney XD called "Parker Plays," and then his content became more PG, but it was still kind of funny. Then last year he abandoned his channel because he and his friend started this generic and heavily sanitized Minecraft channel called "Craftee," which got 50x more popular, and he just left his original channel abandoned without any trace of hope left.

I do know about Parker Plays through the Disney channel stuff, but I never really watched him. But yeah, it’s sad how YT is forcing people to turn PG on the main site and they let their YouTube Kids go wild. Coppa was one of the weirdest things that happened to YouTube.

Seriously though, YT has an entire site dedicated to children’s content yet they force people on regular YT to clean their videos up like there’s mildew coming from them.
