the linked image had mods active in the comment specifically saying it didn't break stream rules, despite being clearly controversial.

That’s what the petition is for.

I knew exactly how controversial it was, but without petition it could not be disapproved as it did not violate stream rules. I try my very best not to moderate purely off opinions, since I don't want people to think that they can get moderators to do anything for them

After a few months of consideration, I will be adding this as a rule to the stream.
It will be updated shortly

If this post gets enough comments and/or upvotes then I will talk with other owners on how to implement this rule

The linked post was made in clear attempt to copy another meme on this stream's front page made a few days prior, really only expanding on the concept with added context. Multiple users including the creator or the original meme cried out against the blatant copy, but stream moderators would do nothing as the meme wasn't a carbon copy.

This petition intends to ask the moderators into updating the stream rules, so that clearly similar memes posted too soon after the original front page memes are also identified as reposts and are removed.
