In fact, in poetry, breaking the rules of proper grammar can be acceptable if wanting to convey a message or further stress the meaning of the poem through being grammatically incorrect. And honestly, language is somewhat of a social construct ig, words are invented and eventually forgotten, the spelling of words can differ between countries and eras, and the rules of grammar can also differ. Language is manmade, man-used, man-changed.. so therefore, one cannot actually be incorrect in grammatical expression, it's the person who decides if it's incorrect or correct.
