They can stop themselves from burning things, but it requires training. history: Scorchwings originated from a skywing/mudwing hybrid, which had firescales and Animus powers, who married a sandwing and had dragonets together. They had so many that they had to turn into a tribe, which were called Scorchwings. The Scorchwings then started having Animus powers, which they were blue if they had some. The Animus Skywing enchanted the sand for some reason, to make any Animus Scorchwing have some type of blue in them, but it can't be their eyes, as that would kind of be subtle. So they had some type of blue in them. Animus Scorchwings sometimes had black or white scales/hair (sometimes both) with the blue, which gives them an interesting hue color. Normal Scorchwings also have this kind of hue with mixed scale colors, and underbelly colors, sometimes with gold in their wings.
