Oh, if you get the chance, you gotta try Half-Life if you didn't before.

Worth the money 100%
Environmental storytelling is top tier. Some of the best games I've ever played have next to no cutscenes (Portal 2, COD: World at War, etc.)

Yes, which is why Half-Life is another great example.
I recommend playing the first one (1998) and despite its low graphics, it's an enjoyable experience and a challenge
