It is, Halloween hasn't changed much over thousands of years, it originally started with wearing costumes of ghosts and creatures to celebrate the dark arts

yeah but my parents won't let me celebrate it anymore because it went from fun costumes to demons, torture, and bloody people in sheets as a decoration
