We support maintaining the death penalty for juveniles as young as 16 because we feel it is also the best argument for lowering the voting age to 16. The more young people can vote, the more young conservatives can also vote. We therefore affirm that executing criminals is about preserving democracy and equal rights and, crucially, about our future.
