flamers are as unstable as plasma. in the wiki, it is literaly said that the fuel they put in there stiks like resin and, once ignited, cannot be put out. if you were to accidentaly set your buddy's leg on fire they'd have to cut it off.

this is why i prefer Meltas.

also its sticks not stiks

but like ,FLAMERS as i quote "BURN IN HOLY FIRE!" and "PURGE THEM BROTHERS". I do agree meltas good especialy when you got those necrons worryed about being burt but at the same time salamanders (which also use meltas often) use flamers a lot and the first thing i think of when i here purge in holy fire! is FLAMERS.
