I've been told this isn't the case. That lobbyist for charter schools must be a LFCSINO. Or Antifa.

Well the party of personal responsibility has a perfect track record because no matter they do or say, it wasn't them

Could very well be. Plenty of folks think the state shouldn't be involved in education. Those peeps tend to concur that private education is the only way to ensure everyone can run schools how parents want.

Private education is there to indoctrinate children so they don't question their rulers. Public education is there to teach facts and critical thinking. The parents that dislike the facts can f**k off

As someone who has experienced public, private, home, and online schooling across all levels and through college, I most detested the rigidity and lack of substance I encountered when enrolled in the state system. There were good classes, but overwhelmingly they were outshone by the Catholic schools I've been in.

Anecdotal? Yes. But with almost no exceptions, my fellow classmates agreed that we preferred where we were at to state schools. Usually the ones who left were those who wanted to get involved in bigger sports programs. I've got no beef with state schools, they get the job done, but the ideal society is one that encourages a diverse learning system where everyone can balance financial, personal, and other factors when choosing a school.

Two things, first I went to many schools across the country growing up, so I have seen first hand the lack of consistency. That can be fixed by investing in public schools. Not by starving them if resources.

The second is most charter schools are a scam. No teacher's rights, no parental rights, no children's rights. They are private, for profit schools that exist to make the owners money. This country use to be proud of its public schools, but if you wanted to send your kid to a private school you could, but on your own dime. Why did that change?

Simple. Rich people don't like paying taxes and people like you let them get away with it by buying into their lies. You have been programmed to hate all things "socialist". You know all the things a government exists to provide its citizens. Why? So a few very rich families can have even more money.

I think parents have too much say over how children are educated. Young humans' right to truth and facts far outweigh parents' right to preserving dysfunctional systems of control.

You're making an extremely grave logical error in correlating public school with guaranteed good education while simultaneously linking any alternative with poor education.

I don't know why you believe that, but it is logically unsound, not at all represented by the actual state of affairs in U.S education, and frankly concerning.
