bruh
*clears throat*
If you can simply manage to make a meme for the
imgflip.com/m/Meme-Man stream that actually uses the character Meme Man, I can confirm it will get an instant upvote from me, no matter how poorly-conceived or lazily-formatted or totally ungrammatical and nonsensical (see: Warikoze’s memes).
Yes, Warikoze’s crap gets featured. And gets upvotes from me, too. Why? No matter how disjointed his logic or how poor his grasp of the English language, he at least knows who Meme Man is and intuited the purpose of a stream titled
imgflip.com/m/Meme-Man.
That purpose is — and let me hide the ball no longer — for the posting of Meme Man memes. For the grouping-together of Meme Man-related content. Other sorts of content may have a home somewhere on Imgflip. But not here.
And let me let you in on a secret. A little “extra for experts.”
Memers have successfully gotten memes featured in the
imgflip.com/m/Meme-Man stream *without* using the meme man character. “But how?” you ask. “Doesn’t that contradict everything you just said, Slobama?”
Well: If the text of your non-meme man meme nevertheless references “Meme Man” in some way, or uses Meme Man-derived or -inspired eccentric misspellings, then your meme may be featured in the
imgflip.com/m/Meme-Man stream anyway. A little side-door, if you will, for those in the know.
And now, if you’ve made it this far, you may consider yourself one of “those in the know” too.
If you followed all of that, dear reader, then you’re one step closer to T.I.E. (Tiresome Imgflip Elitist) Certification.
