I am begging you

I am begging you | I have a story for you all. When I was a boy, I thought I could swim without help at all. So I tried to do it. But it turns out, I couldn’t. It dawned on me that I was going to drown. I reached for something to grab to, but nothing was there. Water filled my lungs and I was going to die. I thought to myself, “Save me God!” Suddenly, it felt as if a hand touched my shoulder and I was pulled out of the water. I coughed up the liquid in my mouth and looked around to see who saved my life. No one had even noticed I was drowning. Except God. I tell you this story to show that God loves and wants you in heaven with him. Hell is not a fun place to be, for you will be by yourself, in pain and agony and full of guilt. God forgives even the worst of people because he loves us. Comment if you want more information. | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Thanks for sharing. Was that your first experience of God?

I went to church every week but it had zero impact on my life. It wasn’t until we went to a new church that I saw how God works in people’s lives. I then started listening to BOT radio network which provided information and explanation about God and our lives on earth.

In all my life I've never experienced him. That's why I'm here, and also because of religious trauma

BOT? So what is our purpose according to your new church? Why didn't your old church have any affect on you?

Our old church did not preach from the gospel. BOT radio network is a radio station where I live that plays sermons by really good pastors.

Glad you found something to listen to that has meaning and helps you. How has it helped you on your faith journey?

It helps me understand why people act certain ways and helps me understand why God has done different things for us.

Also It would be great if you did not post this sort of thing in the atheist stream. If you want, I could make a christian stream for you so you do not have to go on to this one.

Then what about all those other people who prayed to god while THEY were drowning and nothing happened?

It was God’s will. I think that their death was God letting them into heaven sooner than later. Everything works towards Gods plan. You might not like the way things are happening, but in the end it will all work out for good.

It was not God will. People have had free will since they ate of the fruit in the Garden, oh so the story goes.

Also, there is no Heaven where people go to yet, again, according to the Book.

Yes it was His will. He put the people in the spots they are at and he knew what they would do because he is omniscient.

That is true. But time works differently for people who are dead and God. God created time.

False. Original Sin. Look it up.

Where does it say that about time?

God created everything. Before then was nothing. God is eternity.

Begging what?

If there is a universal divine force, then there is a universal divine force. If its ego is so dimunitive that it requires you to sign up to its fanclub and you have to impress it with likes in order for it to save you from eternal punishment for being born with negative qualities it itself instilled in you, then it isn't quite much of a universal divine force.

A universal divine force is there whether or not you give it permission to be, and it will do as it will regardless of the petty vain needs its pet monkey people toss upon it. That it saves some and not others because, um, why again? is a crappy deal.

You use big words, but do you know of whom you speak? The creator of the universe, the one who sent his son to die for our sins, the one who has done no wrong. God does not need to be impressed. Some of the worst people on earth has been saved by his love. When Jesus was on the cross, he invited the man on the cross next to him into heaven. The man had humbled himself before God, and he went to live in eternity with Jesus.

And that “crappy deal,” is not crappy at all. Eternity in hell, or eternity in paradise? You choose. God created us and loves us so that we have free will to choose whether to follow his ways or not.

Are talking about Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, not Gentiles?

God is for everyone, not just Jews or Gentiles. There is only one God, not multiple versions. One true and perfect God.

So you're NOT talking about Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, not Gentiles?

Pardon? Thee is one God and he goes by many names. I have not heard of this one, and if it is blasphemy, then it isn’t one of His names.
