"Through this project, NARUC’s goal is to transform the socio-cultural norms at energy regulatory commissions to ensure women can succeed and advance in their careers. NARUC is collaborating with energy regulatory commissions in support of organizational changes combined with training and mentoring to create a profound impact on the overall effectiveness of the commissions, which can in turn serve as a gender-inclusive example for the regional energy sector.
Under NARUC’s programming for results design, the GTA&T must be able to identify necessary steppingstones and phases to improve gender equity and ensure successful mainstreaming efforts at participating organizations, within the context of emerging economies."
