During the planning phase and original idea shown to the N.P.S., The Interapark resort was meant to be as long as the width of the Lower Visitor Center. But it was shrunken down in 1989 to complete it faster and reduce the strain on the Gastric Cliffs.
The Size of intrapark also surprised "Slippin Jim" (James Jackson), leading to his formal resignation in the mid to late 1980s.
