MLK the advocate of non-violence

I do think MLK would say there are certain extreme situations where a violent response to violence is justifiable or at least understandable.

But he did hammer the theme of non-violence. I think he saw it as more pragmatic. But I do wonder what his ghost would say on that subject, knowing that American society's repayment for his tireless efforts for justice and equality was his own assassination.

This is one quote everyone in America should take to heart...both sides are ready to forget it entirely.
