Balor frowned and he aimed a shotgun at the zombies, shooting them easily. He sighed as he looked at her, his expression saddening a little.

???: *sobbing softly*

He put his shotgun away and carefully approached her "I am very sorry for your loss, ma'am..." he said quietly

-all of the sudden, the boy turns-

He hesitated and gripped on to his gun "What the hell?" he whispered

???: *kicks the boy away*

He looked down at the boy, raising a brow "There's no way the boy is alive." he mumbled

Boy: *tries to bite you*

"Shit-" Balor gripped his gun but didn't shoot, instead he avoided being bit

Balor frowned "Ethan! Ashley!" he yelled and two boys jumped down from a tree (imgflip.com/i/77oec8) (imgflip.com/i/77oeh1). "Hey, Brother!" the ginger-haired boy said with a smile "Ashley, keep the woman safe-" Balor said as he kept avoiding the boy.

Balor shook his head "Nothing." he said and he closed his eyes again, standing back up. Balor looked at the woman and sighed "I'm very sorry for your loss, ma'am." he said quietly, the boys nodding

Alex: you can call me Alex...

Balor nodded "That's a lovely name, good to meet you, Alex. I'm Balor, these are my younger brothers, Ethan and Ashley." he said, Ethan simply nodding and Ashley waving enthusiastically

Alex: *small smile*

Ethan sighed "Would you like to bury your son? We can make sure no zombies approach you as you do." Ethan said quietly, Ashley nodding

Alex: *nods*

Balor nodded "Alright, Ethan and Ashley will make sure they don't come up to you from the trees, I'll be here." he said and Ethan and Ashley nodded, both quickly jumping up to trees.

Ashley quickly went up to the woman "Ma'am, are you alright? No bite marks anywhere right?" he asked, Balor frowning 'Ma'am, I won't shoot him unless you want me to!" Balor yelled as he tightened his grip on his gun

Balor hesitated "Are you sure, ma'am? It's going to hurt you a lot more because it's your own son!" Balor said, loosening his grip on his gun

He sighed "Alright, ma'am.." he mumbled and looked at Ashley "Heads up!" he yelled as he tossed his gun to him. Ashley caught it and handed it to the woman.

???: *she walks up to her son* im sorry about this sweetie... *she shoots him in the head, drops to her knees sobbing*

The boys stayed quiet and Ashley tossed Balor's gun back to him "Check if he's still alive.." Ethan mumbled, crossing his arms. Balor nodded and crouched down to the boy "Pulse check.." Balor mumbled and opened his eyes. His eyes were a light green and he scanned the boy, checking for pulses

???: *quiet* his name was Karl

Balor sighed "I see...I'm very sorry, ma'am.." Balor mumbled. "Have you not found a pulse?" Ethan asked, Balor frowned a bit "Not yet.." he said quietly, Balor still searching for a pulse

Afra: may I see him? I promise his body will not be damaged, though I have a suspicion of something *looks around for more zombies*

*Afra takes the body and starts to investigate for any bites. She finds one, a tiny Nick in the skin near his shoulder. She shakes her head and pulls out what looks like a turkey baster, places it on the cut, and starts to pull out the poison. Afra looks around one more time and places a bandage around the wound, slipping in a voodoo seal. The boy’s eyelids flutter*

Afra: he’ll be ok ma’am, but we need to get out of the open

*Afra puts the boy on her back before leading the woman to an underground bunker. They enter, seeing tons of people inside. Most are injured, but some are running around with medical supplies, rations, and other items. One serious looking girl is teaching people how to shoot guns, and two boys are demonstrating some kind of magic with metal batons*
