HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS; In Nevada we have zoning laws, that prevent new housing developments that would help reduce rent prices. The more low to middle income housing is allowed, the lower the rent goes. Entrepreneurs are more than willing to develop housing complexes for profit while also keeping rent low due to all the would be competition around them. The more competition, the more the rent goes down. So long as these housing developments are not run or owned by the government. If you want Las Vegas and over all Nevada to grow, we need to end these zoning laws that don't protect anyone other than established monopolies who don't want any competition. We need apartments, not more houses.
