It was all a mistake, should have made the fix to the Articles of Confederation and been done with it.

I don't know enough to say either way, but just seeing the results, probably.

Even the constitution was catered a lot more to states' rights than the mess we have now. (I watched a single video so now I'm an expert https://youtu.be/DZO1O3CeW2w )

Sloth change my mind deep-fried | Lower the voting age to 16 | image tagged in sloth change my mind deep-fried | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Unbased. Lower the voting age to 16.

The rationale behind the 26th Amendment (a Vietnam War-era Amendment) is that if you’re old enough to be drafted and sent to die in a faraway foreign land, then you’re old enough to have a political say about your country’s future as well.

I see no way to assail that logic.

But why stop there?

At age 16 you are: old enough to drive, old enough to take a job (and therefore, be affected by employment-related laws), old enough to consent to sex in some states (and therefore, old enough to be affected by reproductive-related laws, which has taken on much greater importance in a post-Roe era).

Old enough to vote. Change my mind.

just raise the draft age lol
oh, and if I'm old enough to be drafted and sent to die in a faraway foreign land, I should be old enough to buy a handgun from the store, yet I don't see you arguing for that right

16 year olds are retarded. People can take a job earlier with some restrictions btw, but that doesn't mean they should be allowed to vote.
