This is so true! People can bash Christians, but they can't say anything when someone makes up a gender.

The amount of times I've been called slurs for being gender fluid is beyond count, although some people do have some reasons to dislike Christianity, what reasons do they really have to dislike LGBTQ

Oh we're fine with the people, we just simply believe that LGBT behavior (the action) is a sin. Nobody calls a fornicator slurs. If someone saying that they are a Christian and they mistreat someone, they are not following the bible. (1 John 4:20). I'm sorry that you have experienced that, that is unacceptable!!

Some people might not like Christianity or follow the gospel, and Christians don't have the power to change that, only God does. However, what is happening is that there is a double standard forming where people can be hostile to Christianity without consequences, but can't do that to any other religion or LGBT. This happens to me all the time.

as a Catholic that is very involved in my church, i also support LGBTQ. you know why? because that's their choice in life. and we need to respect that. because i don't see a problem in simply respecting everyone. how do you expect to get respect if you can't even respect others. and i think anyone can be what they want as long as it isn't hurting anyone. I do understand where you are coming from too

gay is a word that has changed greatly over time. It actually used to mean "happy" and so you cannot logically make an explanation of what the word means now.

the human language that changes over time. words have new meanings. which is why we use latin (a dead language) to scientifically name animals. because the word will never change.
so i think it would be easier to define words with correct prefixes. thus homosexual instead of gay. homo-romantic instead of gay
