You can't be "small government" if you're over-riding local school boards by dictating the goals they set. You can't be "small government" if you're going into each and every classroom, all day and every day, to monitor what words the teachers are saying.

Either you're actually small government and let the states & local school boards handle it OR you are the biggest brotheriest big government and control every aspect of education.

Sure I can. It’s my damn taxes. The only words the teachers need to say is about the subject that they teach. If they teach English, the teach English…if math, then stick to math. My kids don’t need to know about any individual teachers sexual preferences, pronouns, or “partners”.

I am pointing out the very-normal rampant hypocrisy of the GOP. McCarthy's Speaker acceptance speech said they were dedicated to small government and then immediately launched into how they're going to pass nation wide legislation to control classrooms.
