I haven't done anything to be punished for plus I do not feel as if I am being punished by God. FYI, I  saw this old newspaper clipping that a friend on Facebook had found while cleaning and thought this would make a nice prayer meme.

And, God wants us as Christians to pray to him even when we are experiencing difficult times in our lives. He never said it would be easy and He says to ask for guidance and lean on Him especially during the difficult times in our lives.
