last time i checked, we were the ones who wanted to build a wall, put drug laws down, and save innocent babies lives

And the left is to control every outcome, for power.

Universal healthcare, affordable housing, quality education, decent paying and available jobs: That’s not “controlling every outcome,” that’s fighting for minimum conditions for survival in the modern world.

Human beings are social, we wouldn’t have built societies if we weren’t. That means taking care of the sick person down the street when you’re healthy, and in return, you can expect the same when you’re unwell.

In a social-democrat’s ideal world, there is still inequality, just less of it.
