It's above $3 in Colorado. Want to know why? The governor had a new 11 cent per gallon fee* that was set to go into affect back when gas was at its highest point. So, the governor, instead of canceling it altogether, moved it to take affect after he won reelection. Since 90% of the sheeple in this blue version of hell didn't realize that, it was politically brilliant.
*They have to call it a fee in Colorado because all taxes have to be approved by the voters. That's something that still remains from when this was a red state that the left has tried to overturn with no success. So, they just call taxes fees and continue on.
