I guarantee that there have been all sorts of deals made behind the scenes. I think it will ultimately be up to Joe. If he will gracefully bow out of the 2024 race in favor of some other hand picked replacement then the FBI will lose the original laptop and declare all the cloned hard drive copies drifting around too potentially corrupted to be used as real evidence. If, on the other hand, Joe digs his heals in -- if the DNC actually does want to replace him -- then finally a real investigation into Hunter will be allowed to proceed.
