1. “Patriotic education” is cringe. Like these Chinese kids being raised to be imperialists.
2. On the other hand, Ukraine is, in fact, being brutally invaded. Can Ukrainian kids realistically be sheltered from that fact? How do you teach a kid about war? I don’t have answers, do you?
3. I’ve seen no evidence Ukraine is running so desperately low on manpower that they’re literally sending minors into combat.
Eh. For me it’s a wash. Putin calls off his thugs, war will stop affecting Ukrainian kids.
