*Cade seems to reach for his waist. Wait, where’s his holster. No matter. He gets into a fighting stance, and waits for him to do something.*

The figure does not move

Eventually you stop along a riverbed. After making a fire Gildan crafts a makeshift fishing rod and catches fish to eat. You sit in silence for a bit.

:soooo got any famliy?

He pauses for a moment "I do... I haven't seen them in a long time, Not since I was drafted. I do miss the simple days of fishing and hunting, Joyous days those were... And now I'm all grown up, living by myself trying to find another half"

: huh I haven’t seen my family in a while too

"Say what is it with that 'Tac Tickle' gear? Looks different from any outfit I've seen"

: it was for fight enemy infantry form where and or when i was from.

"Oh. I hope it turned out well in the end"

: I never got to see actual combat

A solemn expression blankets his face "You're one of the lucky ones. War is more than the soldiers say it is. I fought in a war most people will forget, because nobody wants to remember it"

: those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it

The figure turns to face you "Who are you?... and what is that getup you got yerself going there?"

: I have no idea it’s my tactical gear and who are you?

"Tac Tickle, never heard of it. Well, tha name's Gildan and I gotta say you're about two pennies short of looking some kinda ninja or whatnot"

: names bravo . Where am I?

"Well I'd love to tell ya but... I don't know. These trees are unfamiliar to me"

: well crud

"Since you're here, I figure we can search the forest" he holds out his hand to shake

: alright what are we looking for? * shakes hands *

"Well, I guess whatever. We're lost, we'll need shelter and food but, if we can find a settlement that would be even better. Now, come along" he sprints onward

: sweet dude lets go then

"I just hope someone's near" He pushes ahead

: yeah me too

As you traverse the forest you hear the snapping of enormous trees, followed by a spine chilling roar.

: *immediately crouches pulling up a M-4A1 carbine on a sling* what was that?

He turns to you and sees the gun. He stands dumbfounded for a moment, then shakes his head and says to you "Listen, you're not gonna want to see this. I need you to take cover behind that tree and close your eyes. Whatever you do: Don't Look!" He starts to run in the direction of the noise.

: got it * proceeds to hide a ditch *

As Gildan runs you hear his yelling. A vicious roar signifying it's affirmation of the oncoming duel. As blades clash against what you hear to be flesh and bones you only hope that you could help in any way.

: what is going on here?!

The sounds of roaring and gashes fills the forest with a chill. You continue to hide but you're not sure what to do.

(Btw sorry about the wait I had a few things going on)

: oh what the actual hell? (no problem)

* in a ditch

"Amen to that my brother. Some things are so inhumane but... they've become so constant that it's only become human to be at war... sad really"

: yeah i agree.

You both finish dinner. He turns to you "Mimd If I take watch tonight? I dont think I'll get much sleep anyway"

: ok then * find a decent spot to sleep*

The ground is rough and uncomfortable. But eventually you do find a reasonable spot to take rest. You wake up to Gildan shaking you. "C'mon. We gotta get an early start"

: huh oh ok *slowly gets up*

You pack your things and leave the campsite. As you walk along the forest you notice the fog has grown thicker.

: what’s with all this fog Jesus Christ man

"That's a real good question. I'm not sure which kinds of forests have fog like this. Strange..."

: well lets get a move on this is making me a little uneasy

As the noises continue to grow closer they become more and more fierce as well. Finally one last slash renders the beast silent. You hear footsteps stumbling towards you. Gildan calls out "Alright, keep your eyes closed and follow my voice" you find your way to him and he escorts you through the forest. He doesn't say anything for a few minutes, then finally breaking the silence he says "Okay, it's safe. You can open your eyes" you open them, adjusting to the light after having them shut for so long. He ushers you to continue and you both venture forth.

End Of Chapter 1

: ok you’re the boss man

(*Info - AGE 16 - SPECIALTY She has a pistol she always carries with her - NAME Rew*)

Rew- Why did I even come into the woods?!?!

The figure is startled. He spins around and shouts "Who was that?!"

Rew- I-i-i... I mean no h-harm!

His Scottish accent started to grow heavy, making his speech almost indescribable.
"W-W-Whatte Hall Are ya doin inda faurest lhaik this?!" He starts to pant, though, calms down after a moment.

Rew- U-Ummm I c-can't understand y-you...

His panting turns to heavy breathing. He falls down on his back and says "Oh you gave me the Willie's. My heart be pounding now... Who are you?"

Rew- I-I'm Rew

He sits up "Rew ya say eh? Watcha be doin in a forest like this?"

Rew- I d-don't know... One minute I saw a person in a black cloak, the next I passed out. Now i'm here....

"Well I remember something similar to that but... I dont remember me being in that memory" he stands up

(*to you*) Rew- W-wait a m-minute.... I t-think I have seen you before.....

He looks bothered "...I Know as much as you do... I just hope you're the type that can understand the things that'll happen"

Rew- I-i'm pretty sure i am.....

You finish your dinner. After a while you he volunteers to look out, so you lay to sleep. Morning breaks and he wakes you up "C'mon, it's time to go. We may have some time ahead of us. Best to get an early start"

(*Rew gets up and grabs her pistol*) Rew- Ok.....

As you walk along the forest you find an old trail "Let's follow this, bound to lead us somewhere" he offers.

Rew- Ok... I just want to get the hell out of here... (*Rew looks sad and scared as they walk*)

You exchange faces "Me Too" he sighs. As you travel across the path you hear the snapping of trees followed by a dooming roar. "Dear Go-..." he stops cold in his tracks "Are you of the unholy witches?" He asks with haste.

Rew- No, my aunt was a good witch and so am i...

He quickly turns to you and commands "Then hide behind that tree, cover your ears and whatever you do: Dont Look!" He pulls a dagger and begins tying his robe over his eyes, then runs off.

(*Rew does as he commands and hides behind a tree, covering her ears and tightly shutting her eyes*)

As he runs off you start to hear him shouting. The sounds seem to be getting further away. But you can still hear the Grisly roars and clashing of blade.

(*Rew starts to panic but she conjures a seeing spell to look for the man*)

"Watcha mean you've seen me?!"

Rew- I-ive seen y-you with my weird a-aunt....

He stands puzzled "...Who? I've never met you before, and I'm sure I ain't never seen your 'Wierd' aunt"

Rew- S-she was a w-witch... I-ive seen y-you talking with h-her...

"I've talked with many a women. They all want me..." he let's out a chuckle "But I always say no *sighs* it's hard to find another half that really loves you, especially when they all think you're handsome"

(*Rew starts to laugh softly*) Rew- My aunt was asexual.... She was the founder of the Secrect Society of Witches

"I've no idea what that's supposed to mean. And I dont know of any witches... But if you're sure I may have seen this woman then I'll believe you. The question is: Does she have a big nose?" He lets out a hearty laugh.

Rew- Yes she did.... She was hung by the same person who sent me here.....

He stops immediately "...Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope she was a good person"

Rew- She was to me, but not to everyone else... She taught me a few spells.... (*Suddenly a small fire appears in her hand*)

"I don't Know... I just woke up here. But I've got a feeling something bad is gonna happen"

Rew- Bad like what?

"Something that humans shouldn't have to face..." He pauses "You Should Get Some Sleep. I'll Keep Watch Tonight"

Rew- No... i'll keep watch.. if anything comes i'll burn em, or shoot em...

"... I've got a question"

Rew- What is it?

"Just how bad was the worst magic? Was it just warfare inducing or..."

Rew- it would even send chills up satan's neck....... Darmogon was an evil book of spells that he used to try to escape his own hell....

"...That's not true. Satan isn't exactly the one to be scared by any mortal likeliness. I'm afraid the only thing that scares him is god himself. Any old book can send you to a hellish prison but you can only be condemned to it by the lord"

Rew- huh... witches don't die unless they are hung with holy objects.... but still... i stand my opinion

As she searches for him the spell begins to weaken more and more eventually as the image becomes near unrecognizable your eyes begin to burn.

Rew- Damnit... Where is he? I must k-keep the s-spell going....

The roars and shouts start to grow unsettling loud. As you keep the spell moving, voices begin to flood your mind, whispering indecipherable mementos to you. You begin to feel a haze pour over yourself and start to lose consciousness.

Rew- O-oh my... (*Rew falls to the floor, blacking out..*)

You wake up to the smell of fish cooking. You open your eyes in the dark and see Gildan next to a campfire, his robe tied around his wasit, and bandages on his face covered in blood. He notices your stirring and gets up,walking awkwardly towards you "Tidy Ho" he speaks "You were asleep for hours there. You feeling okay?"

Rew- Oh! A-are you o-okay?!?!

"It's just a wound. It'll heal after time, just... please dont worry"
Your concerns for him grow no dimmer and you hope to understand the cause of this hurt. For now you feel sleepy. It is time for rest.

End Of Chapter 1

Thanks for going along. This is my first and I'm really exited to take this story further.

ooh! Can we start chaper 2 now?

Sorry but I haven't complete it yet. It should come out relatively soon though. And I will post it when it's ready.

"Woah! How'd ya do that?"

Rew- Messed up witch stuff....

He sighs "That brings back some bad memories. Just try to be careful with that okay?"

Rew- Bad memories like what?

"...I'd rather not say. But it has to do with witchcraft. So if you don't mind please"

Rew- Ok.... but, it's getting dark and we should probably get a torch...

"Okay. I hear a stream nearby, we'll set up camp and catch some fish to eat"

Rew- Alright.....

He collects a pile of sticks then makes a campfire. "Y'know I used to be an excellent fisherman back in the day" He caught a bundle of fish in what seemed to be only two minutes. He roasted them over the fire, and they were delicious. You sit in silence eating your dinner for a bit.

Rew- Where is this forest? Is a town nearby? (*Rew pulls out her pistol and starts cleaning it*)
