I never watched that so I don't get the reference.

There's this Tomboy character, Anybodys, who's always trying to fit in with one of the rival gangs, the Jets, but they're always shooing her away.
But then some major stuff went down, all is in disarray, they're on the run, and she finds and gives their new leader, Ice, some info, and he tells her to keep on helping, and Ice says, "You done good, buddy boy." and Anybodys says, "Thanks, Daddy-O."

It's a cute/sweet scene because she only wanted to fit in and finally she does.
