Facebook only allows name change every 60 days and are much more strict in what you can change it to. A few years ago name change wasn't even an option on Imgflip. Changes are happening often based on user input. It's just not announced by us on a grand scale. We need to be sure it's a change that will for sure benefit the community becuase you can't go back and undo a sitewide update. we indeed listen, just ask users who've been here awhile.
