I mean, in theory, they both can be suspects. No telling who get there first.

I have extreme doubts that Russia would destroy their own geostrategic negotiating power to instead start a new market with Asian states that bring far less benefit and growth to their GDP.
The US benefits in soft power gains and the weakling/ostracisation of a major geopolitical enemy.

I’m just pointing out that it’s misleading to make it out that America is the only country to benefit…

Which is a fair and reasonable argument. But it's definitely not Russia or Germany who benefit.

To be completely honest I believe it probably was America or some other NATO country.
Maybe even Ukrainian Spec Ops but thats a bit of a stretch.
If Russia wanted to shut the pipeline down to put pressure on Germany, they could easily just shut it off. It makes no sense for them to outright blow up Nord Stream.
Whether or not it’s justified is another matter…

Dozens of countries benefit from blowing up Russian pipelines. The US, The Ukraine, any nation that needs high gas prices to push "green" propaganda, any major oil producing nation that isn't Russia. The list goes on.
