Agreed — Nothing wrong with giving Russian cannon-fodders one last chance to see Santa Claus like they’re 5 years old again, right before they get a leg broken without a combat medic in sight and then spend their last moments on earth staring up at a Ukrainian drone right before they’re grenaded in a frozen mud-pit somewhere outside of Bakhmut.

It’s not necessarily a sign of desperation to give these poor draftees one last look at Santa. Matter of fact, it could be a sign of Putin’s essential humanity. It’s all the other aspects of the situation that are desperate.

Logic fail by the headline writers!

Well, it’s based on some real drone footage from the frontlines that I actually saw. Not gonna post it here because, well, mods and rules against gore and all that.

The only thing I changed was that in reality, the broken-legged Russian got ahold of his long-barreled rifle and (somehow) shot himself in the heart before the loitering drone could deliver the coup-de-grace.

The drone ended up dropping its payload anyway, just to be sure, since Russian soldiers “playing dead” to avoid death-by-drone has become a thing.
