Uh...festive Christmas title.

In Finland we say Santa gives sticks to bad people.
AND SANTA DOESN'T LIVE IN THE NORTH POLE, THERE IS NO REINDEERS!! SANTA WAS BORN IN FINLAND, ROVANIEMI!!!!

In america, i say Santa gives coal to bad people. And being that i generated this meme in america, Finland is irrelevant.

We actually use 2. We use Old one too.
When in Finland, Christmas didn't exist, we still had "tapaninpäivä". Tapaninpäivä still exists, btw. When it was Tapaninpäivä, The nuuttipukki came to hit the nasty children with birch branches. So people nowadays say if you were nasty, nuuttipukki will come.....
WE use both ones at same time, because children are not scared of sticks.
But those are actually birch branches, we just call them sticks.
And nuuttipukki beats you with them.
THAT makes children be kind.

Thanks for the random history lesson. I was making a joke about the version of Santa people say lives in the north pole. It wasn't about nuuttipukki , Krampus, or whether or not a magical fat man could possibly have reindeer in the north pole. You truly baffle me.
