You see, you joked about your friend for being fat. I have a friend who's fat, and he has a thick skin so he doesn't care about the occasional joke, but it seems your friend doesn't have a skin as thick. It's good to be aware about what jokes you can and can't make with your friends, that usually keeps me out of a lot of situations.
