Seriously, I haven’t seen any posts in a long time

I've mainly been playing Pokemon violet and working on Pokemon drawings

I already talked about pokemon violet on a previous post about why I haven't been active so I'll tell you about the drawings

A week ago (I think) I came up with a challenge for myself, I wanted to draw pokemon for some reason. So I took a few of my own ideas and made a post asking for a few more

So far I'm about halfway through my list, I've got four more to do

I feel like drawing pokemon will help me get better at drawing animals since most pokemon are based on them

Ok is Pokémon violet good

It's very glitchy but most of it just visual bugs

For example, anything that isn't within a certain radius of you is at like 3 fps

Or any time you exit a building it glitches out the camera

And recently whenever I start a terrastel raid there's a grafaiai that just sits there in front of you, it doesn't move, doesn't attack, and you can't attack it. It's just weird

Other than that the story is really good, there's a ton of different characters and once you figure out how to upgrade miraidon it gets a lot easier to travel

My main complaint is that they removed a few game mechanics from legends Arceus that I would've preferred to have in violet

For example, being able to throw pokeballs without entering a battle, let's say your pokemon are on low health and you find a really rare Pokemon

You can't sneak behind it and throw a pokeball because they removed that

There's also dodging, however since the pokemon don't attack you it isn't really needed

You can still crouch and hide in the grass but the only benefit of that is you get free attacks if you start a battle, for the first couple turns the pokemon doesn't move

Overall it's a pretty good game even though there's some things I would change without hesitation if I could
