1. Humans actually have only four fingers, considering that the thumb is not a finger.
2. Animators typically give characters 3 fingers or less (and a thumb) due to the fact that it is quite impractical to put more detail and effort into something that, in the end, does not matter all that much.
3. It does not matter all that much because the animators in question can do whatever the heck they want. For all I care, all of the characters could have like mitten hands, where they have like one huge finger and an opposable thumb. As long as the animation is cool, and has a dope soundtrack over it, I could not care less.

The #1 theory that I have heard for why you do not fall off the side of the world is called the "Pac-Man Theory". Basically, the Pac-Man Theory states that when you pass the edge of the world, you are teleported to the opposite end. This theory is so ridiculously stupid, that the only possible solution is to say that the Earth is round.

Can you over explain why you can't pause an online game?

See, since an online game has many different people playing on it simultaneously, the game will not be “paused” unless every single player decided to take a break. And even then, the game will continue as normal. In short, you cannot pause an online game because the game was created that way.

Technically, a tomato is a fruit, due to the fact that it grows from seeds. I would not suggest using the Oxford Languages definition, though, because it defines a tomato as "a glossy red, or occasionally yellow, pulpy edible fruit that is eaten as a vegetable or in salad". What the book does not define, is what "eaten as a vegetable" means.
