1. Someone with a Boston accent would pronounce "keeper" KEE-puh.

2. Jews refer to the traditional "skull cap" by its Hebrew name Kippah, which has the same pronounciation.

3. Most non-Jews only know its Yiddish name, yarmulke (pron. YAH-muh-kuh).
