basically Funky Friday did a crossover event with the new Sonic Prime Netflix show, I’m pretty sure none of the original developers had anything to do with this, it was all GameFam (the creators of Sonic Speed Simulator) as the devs hired then a while back, news spread across the FNF community and the original Friday Night Funkin’ devs were not okay with a fan game using their properties for monetary value, the FNF devs are completely fine with anything their fans make as long as they don’t make money off of it, and lol whoops, the original FNF devs are trying to contact their lawyers about this and see what to do as they are better at legal issues than the devs are (basically they’re just seeing if they should sue FF or not) if there’s anyone they should sue though, it should be GameFam instead of the main Developers (Javacoded and Lego) as those 2 haven’t been able to work on the game due to school and had to hire GameFam (of all people), that’s right, these 2 ARE NOT EVEN ADULTS YET, it’s probably bad to get sued at such a young age, but I also think GameFam should be sued because they were making all the garbage updates for the game
TL:DR: FNF devs are mad at FF for making money off a property they don’t own
