but what happened-

I was watching the assembly and there was a game called mattress race. There was 70 freshmen/sophomores/juniors/seniors/staff for each team. One person from each team had to lay on the mattress so the other 69 made a line from one end of the gym to the other. Everyone had to carry the mattress to the other end and back. Being a stupid freshman, I volunteered for it. The mattress got to me but the person sitting next to me angled the mattress so it would hit me in the head. We got third place at least.
