MOST furries. I think of myself as a pretty nice guy, but because I'm a furry, some people may say otherwise. Although I try to stay calm, I can get pretty aggressive if I'm at my limit. If I ever do, I try to calm myself down and take a break from the person (or people) who has (or have) annoyed me. If you're wondering, yes, I do get bullied at school, but for a different reason than being a furry. The only person who knows I'm a furry is my brother, and it's for a reason. If people who normally ignore me start to bully me, I'll know he told them and I'd beat the absolute sh*t out of him.
Back to the point, yes, stereotyping CAN be good, but if it's painting an entire group of humans with one brush, that's just awful. Someone who's a furry might already be going through depression or anxiety, and if someone were to bully them more, it would just hurt their mental health even more. Here's a rhetorical question. Let's say I was that person. If you bullied me to the point I wanted to commit suicide, would you feel guilty? Plus, you don't NEED a fursuit to be a furry. Most furries don't have one because they're way too expensive, so they either try to make their own or stay without one. Again, being a furry is being someone who has an interest in anthromorphic animals.
While it's true that we stereotype anti-furs too, we're both in the wrong. We both painted an entire group with one brush. So, tell me. If we're both in the wrong, why are we arguing? In fact, why don't both sides altogether just stop arguing? This doesn't make any sense.
And the nerd emoji thing was for anyone else who decided to reply, not directed towards you, for your information.
