this is good, I suggest making the neck a little shorter and making the visor more straightly attached to the head- it shouldn't be as curved. You may want to try a more easy angle, like directly from the side rather than the one you have now.
Perhaps you should go (or ask a family member to) grab yourself some nice drawing supplies. I'd suggest thin crayola markers if you enjoy marker work. I know it might sound silly since crayola is "made for kids" but they're also very high quality. That's generally what I use for doodling.
Trust me, I used to SUCK at art, but if you stick with it, it'll be really good, what I did is: I found an art style i really liked, then I kept trying to draw like that over and over and BAM!! ten years later perfecto!
