Well, I’ve found a couple ways to work around these problems, seeing that I have experienced the exact same.

1: Fursuit!!
This one could really depend on how old you are. If you’re younger, it’s a “Halloween costume,”. Older? Get into Theatre. Trust me. A buddy of mine made an entire fursuit for a Cowardly Lion cosplay, and now they’re bringing it to the State Thespian Convention. To win awards. It’s crazy.

2: Pride Flags!!

But really, anything is a pride flag if you make it one. I’ve got a pride Pokemon Card mural on my door, just say you like the colors. I’m releasing a “hidden pride,” collection on my online shop soon, with rainbowy lions (get it, pride?), and designs made using colors of certain flags. As long as you hide the flags well, your parents will never catch on. 😸
