Every word I speak is the truth, pure and simple.  The Republican Party line, when asked about this quote or the general subject of whether the election was "stolen," is "We want to move on and not dwell on past elections."  That is political code for "Trump is no longer in charge, and we wish he would just disappear."

What does Bernie Sanders have to do with it?  Politically, he is as irrelevant as Trump.  But he appears to have learned to live with his lot in life.

He lost in the primaries.  That tends to happen to people who are not Democrats and say bad things about the party at the drop of a hat.  It didn't help that his primary campaign advisor worked for Putin's Guy Konstantin Kilimnik, along with Paul Manafort.
