Odin the all father gave me the triple-pack in the stream (basically that means that I lost my mod abilities, the ability to comment, and even the ability to post.) This happened because Odin kept being a bitch and did not support my request to remove the “No homophobia” rule and I unbanned doorsaregood1234 who acted homophobic against one of the mods who was gay like Odin. I’m just protecting his right to free speech. I know that Odin is part of the LGBTQ community (a poor life choice btw) and I know why he doesn’t want this, but as someone who might be labeled as “homophobic” I don’t see a problem in being so, Odin is just acting like a bitch and is also ugly af. So if you are a mod and you give me them back, I will kindly thank you and I also think that you should have a good talk with Odin about this. Please act quick!

Since no homophobia is a rule, it’s not allowed. It’s like me who posts both in the furries stream and here occasionally. I have to follow both sets of rules depending on where I’m posting. You’re never going to get full free speech on one stream unless it’s a shitposting stream.

Buddy, a company can make whatever rules it wants, and you have to follow them to use the social media (does the Terms and Conditions sound familiar?). You and I have never had free speech on this website in the first place. If we really had free speech, I would have been able to cuss out a global mod for what I thought was a bad decision instead of getting the account forcefully deactivated by them. Said company (imgflip) allows users to make their own streams with their own rules. You have to follow these rules to stay in the stream, and if you break certain rules, you can be punished or kicked out. And a reminder that anyone in the world can use the website, and thus, not all of them have free speech like you and I do.

1st off, yeah I see your point, and also I think that freedom is a complicated issue and that different people have different ideas of what “freedom” is. 2nd off, not everyone has access to imgflip. Some people might be too poor to use the internet, and some countries could have banned imgflip (North Korea, China, etc.) so not everyone can use imgflip.

By posting in that stream, you’re agreeing to abide by its own rules.

That’s the rule the user wants and imgflip allows them to make that rule. It’s their stream and they’re the owner of it currently, so until they are no longer owned, you need to abide by those rules. You can voice complaints to see if they can fix them or make them better, but you will generally need to follow the rules.

Example: I could think this stream’s rules not allowing to post furry art is stupid. Do I need to abide by them? Yeah. Can I voice my complaints? I’ll probably be banned given the mods and stream, but yeah. Will they be changed? That’s up to the owner. It doesn’t work like a “rules for thee but not for me” sort of thing in different streams.
