Acknowledged and agreed. I just don't see how that would be a problem. Harassment is a violation of TOS and leaves the offending party open to all sorts of repercussions. Give the buggers a timeout. Ban them from the stream. Delete there account. Block their IP. If they're intent on being a troll for the sake of being a troll there's ultimately no surefire way to stop them, but getting bopped on the nose is a pretty effective way to curb problem behavior in the average user. I mean, I think. I'm not a mod so there are probably dynamics at play of which I am not aware.

I can totally see how revealing mods in the way I suggested would absolutely cause more problems than it solved. I mean, the thing it would solve isn't even a problem in the first place. Mods have a hard enough job as it is. Adding to their troubles for no clear benefit makes no sense.
