Mojang is bridging the gap between the versions. They've started by adding Java sound effects to Bedrock

Java sucks because yt and most players have to use optifine to run mods and bedrock sucks because of the marketplace weird bugs and bad servers

Society if Bedrock was good and Java had moveable tile entities.
