i didn't really have a good reason for the creator exploding other than the Collector getting a piece from the explosion and becoming powerful,that's not how it happened apparently so it's not canon anymore i'll think of another origin for the banisher soon.

Maybe the Banisher could've appeared with the creation of the multiverse and gifted the Collector the crystal of creation to the one the banisher deemed worthy enough (Collector)
