Well, it can disrupt space travel. It can collide with space rockets being sent into space, damaging them and possibly injuring the astronauts.

Yes but space flights are very carefully planned and space junk isn't abundant

And compared to other stuff it almost isnt significant at all

Edit: It actually doesn't pose a problem to rockets, but to satellites orbiting the planet.
