A progressive Thanksgiving. Kind of like anyone’s Thanksgiving, but with one more step: How can I help make others thankful?

I ate turkey. I visited friends and family. I took time to say thanks in my personal life. I also took time to reflect on our country’s sad history of abuse toward Native Americans and other groups, and how we might do better going forward. Do you see any contradiction? I don’t. For me, dreaming of how to make our country a better place for all is as American as apple pie.
