You can add a permanent amendment. But it generally needs a super majority and approval from the courts. [Scar...]

Yeah I knew it would need a 2/3 supermajority, but Scar isn't active right now. When do you think he'll return to imgflip?

He'll be back at Christmas.
But you don't need the courts to pass the bill. It's just that he generally has the final say on the stream.

so I cannot have recall elections be a permanent amendment unless Scar returns before the election? I'm needing to make this bill because...

1. BritishMormon will get mail-in voters to vote for him and BritishMormon would win because Scar only just needs an id legitimate or fake to allow votes.
2. We have our Senate is combined with Congress until the end of the term (meaning the end of the year because the term ends there).

I'd just try to get the bill passed and see what happens.
I don't know if we got the votes for it or not...

I haven't even written up the bill yet, I'll do that, then we'll wait and see what happens. Don't forget the congress and senate is combined until the end of the term

Should I make the recall elections amendment now or should I wait for Scar to return to imgflip or should I make the recall elections amendment but let Scar decide whether the amendment should be temporary or permanent?

Just make the bill and see if it passes.
We can worry about the supreme court later is the bill goes sideways...

So option 3, "make the recall elections amendment but let Scar decide whether the amendment should be temporary or permanent"

Good idea

Yes, but Scar can decide whether he can make it permanent. I don't want you lecturing me about how the constitution works, especially from a user who breaks it multiple times. Scar decides, not you (in other words, pick your battles)

If I need advice on the British constitution I'll let you know...

Article 16: Security of the Common Sense Constitution
Section 4: Upon passage of this Constitution, all previous Constitutions are repealed and all future Constitutions are seen as invalid.

If the British constitution is used in this role play stream, then it is invalid

"No, I was replying to the right comment."

No, Surly said you can add permanent amendments and you only disagree with it because of political purposes like not wanting to be recalled (you know you want to be president for life).

"You falsely claimed that permanent amendments can be added to the Constitution."

It doesn't edit nor repeal the constitution, it would be a permanent amendment and it doesn't say that we cannot add any articles but we yes, we cannot edit them.

But at the end of the day, Scar would decide if he can make the amendment permanent because he's the Supreme Court.

See Article 16 Sections 1 & 3...

Article 16: Security of the Common Sense Constitution
Section 1: The Common Sense Constitution is the law of the land. No law or Amendment can be in contradiction to the Constitution. Articles of the Common Sense Constitution cannot be edited or repealed; however, Amendments can.
Section 3: Once the initial Common Sense Constitution is passed by the Senate and Congress, Articles cannot be added to the Constitution, only Amendments can.

"But according to Article 16 Section 2 of the Constitution, amendments can be repealed by a 2/3 majority in Congress and the Senate and enacted by the President."

Yes I know that, but this only happens to temporary amendments like your ones that are in your imaginary made up constitution like...

• Ban on cartoon kissing
• LGBT content to be NSFW
• Ban on NSFW content meaning ban on LGBT.

We'll repeal your amendments on these issues.

"I see you have tried (and failed) to understand the Constitution, ONCE AGAIN..."

You're just misunderstanding the constitution like atheists misunderstand the bible.

"I’m just telling you what the Constitution says lmao."

We know what the constitution and you seem to misunderstand it.

"I can’t be President for life because there’s term limits."

Maybe you might be president for 4 months out of 12, but you'll get your cronies like Fak and Pollard to run for the other 8 months with you alway being on the ticket somehow getting in because we have very weak laws.

"Amendments can be repealed by a 2/3 supermajority in both chambers and the President’s approval."

Well you're just trying to say this for political purposes, we'll be blocking such requests and you'll never get a 2/3 supermajority win, history tells you.

"Yes and the constitution makes it pretty darn clear."

But only amendments that haven't became permanent can be repealed.

"Those aren’t amendments because they don’t change the Constitution."

Yes they do, its undemocratically changing the constitution as it says on Article 16 Section 1 that "The Common Sense Constitution is the law of the land. No law or Amendment can be in contradiction to the Constitution. Articles of the Common Sense Constitution cannot be edited or repealed; however, Amendments can."

You don't seem to understand our constitution that has been there for now a year ago and not to mention you have more experience in the Imgflip_Presidents stream career of role-playing as a president.

"Just rule changes that only need a normal majority and can be repealed with a normal majority too."

That'll make things easier for CTL to try repeal your laws that haven't even been properly enacted through congress and senate.

"What’s Religion got to do with this?"

Bruh, it's an analogy, people use analogies all the time.

Acquittals are not considered a failed system... frivolous impeachments are...

no, impeachments in general are broken, that's why we need to have recall elections but they need evidence behind the reasoning of recalling the president (through polls)

"And how long is the term of office again?"

2 months every term, you can only serve two terms in total per 12 months.

This is an amendment, this has nothing to do with violating the constitution, get the two different things right.

Amendments can be repealed but don't have to, but I cannot rely on you for the constitution but you violated it multiple times especially under your old IncognitoGuy account.
