i remember that what was wrong with it was that it had a straight drop so the slide would sometimes disconnect and then it would be free falling and the kid hit the top of it and his head suffered

well at least the euthanasia coaster does it by extended cerebral hypoxia, so it wouldn't be obscenely painful like a decapitation (since sudden decapitation leaves an active brain, you would either enter shock and die, or would feel full pain and die)
