Aurora is very skilled in magic
She was born with it, in her world magic was only in myths and legends, however there was evidence that it existed at one point
Over time she learned to change what type of animal she resembles, however she usually just goes with a cat because if she enters her other form she's less likely to attack anyone
Sometimes she enters a werewolf-like state, this changes depending on what animal she chooses.
Luckily it doesn't happen very often
However if the conditions are right she can control this form, being able to switch animals instantly
As for other abilities she has basic spacial manipulation, giving her the ability to fly and create beams of energy with enough concentration
Eventually she managed to open a portal to another universe out of panic, when she had accidentally hurt some people in her werewolf state
She... Couldn't figure out how to get back home.
Eventually a peaceful group of travelers helped guide her to the citadel, a place where she could learn more about her abilities and eventually find a way back home
